XHHW-2 UL 44

Application :
Type XHHW-2 or RW90 wires are primarily use for power distribution; and are sometimes referred to as feeders. They may be used in wet or dry locations with conductor temperatures not exceeding 90°C and may be used in conduit and recognized raceways as specified in the National Electrical Code. Voltage rating for XHHW-2 or RW90 conductors is 600V.

Construction :
CONDUCTORS: Compact bare AA-8000 series aluminum alloy, Class B o Compressed soft drawn bare copper with class B stranding per ASTM Standards stranded per ASTM
INSULATION: Abrasion, heat and moisture resistant cross-linked polyethylene insulation (XLPE), low coefficient of friction, “slippery” or “slick” material. It is available in ten solid colors.
